What is Backwards Films?

A curated gallery of short reversed-video clips. We collect clips that only make sense when you press rewind and organize them by genre.

Are these reversed scenes from copyrighted movies?

No. The gallery is short original clips reversed for effect — comedy, stunts, art, storytelling, nature, and magic tricks — not scenes lifted from copyrighted films.

Does it cost anything?

No. Browsing is completely free while the site is in preview. There are no paid plans and no account is required.

Can I upload my own video?

Not yet. The self-serve reverse engine is still being built. Join the waitlist on the upload page and we will email you when it is ready.

How are the films chosen?

The catalog is curated — an editorial list seeded into the gallery. Films are ordered by their community vote counts, so the most-loved reversals rise to the top.

How do I get in touch?
